On September 29th the draw bridge which connects North West Bradenton to Anna Maria Island will be closed for repairs until November 13th, 2008. The bridge spans over Sarasota Bay or is better known as State Route 64 or Manatee Avenue West. This is important knowledge for our guests arriving during the bridge closure as most google maps as well as our normal web site map takes your automobile drive over the Anna Maria Island bridge which will be closed. After a full day of traveling, the potential 45 minute U-turn detour can start your vacation off to a bad start.
