Holmes Beach Skate Park
SKATEBOARDS OR ROLLER BLADES?
A very popular spot for children on Anna Maria Island is the skate park located in Holmes Beach on Marina Drive. Use the North entrance to the Holmes Beach City hall and park behind the skate park. I have attached pictures because honestly I have no idea what the equipment is called. The park is impressive and I have heard rave reviews from our teenaged visitors. Roller blades or skateboards are allowed. No bicycles are allowed and the police station has a camera on the skate park to ensure everyone follows the rules. It is on the trolley stop so it’s easy to take the trolley to enjoy watching your children have fun in the park. There is a waiver form that needs to be filled out and submitted that can be found at the Holmes Beach web site. There is a minor fee for the registration and remains in effect for one full year however is well worth it based on the amenities found at the park and the registration lasts one full year. The park is open during the day and locked throughout the night.

I would like to know what the fee is and what equiptment is required. I will be down there for 2 weeks and i want to be sure to bring everything I have to. Thanks

As of a few months ago there was no fee for signing the liability waiver regarding using the Holmes Beach Skate park. Unfortunately, no equipment is provided. If you plan to rollerblade or skateboard you should bring your own equipment as well as safety equipment.
